On Saturday, we went up to Guildford for the annual boat gathering on the River Wey. We had a picnic on a bench next to the lock, and then watched the start of the raft race.
The decorated boat parade wasn't a patch on last year, but the tea and cake from the rowing club made up for it.
Debdale is a 58 foot semi-trad narrowboat. We own a one-ninth share. Debdale is managed for the owners by OwnerShips, and is currently based at Norbury Junction, on the Shropshire Union canal in Staffordshire.

The raft races look fun, though!
