City Road Basin and Lock

There appears to be lots of building works going on at the far end of City Road Basin.


City Road Lock has modern flats alongside, some of which have fantastic looking roof terraces.

    Gates open as usual! City Road (and Old Ford more so) have cunning bottom gates which are self opening. Nice going towards Limehose, right pain when you are heading towards Camden. Single handers going towards Camden must struggle in these locks
